Join our free family fun day and introduce your little'uns to the wonderful world of books.
There’s a whole host of activities of offer throughout the day including: art workshops, storytelling, face painting, a puppet adventure, a book trail, poetry aloud, interactive storytelling, sensory storytelling, entertainment, lawn games, a children's movie, a craft stall, a poetry jukebox and lots more!
Best of all, our Family Fun Day is FREE for all to attend, so why not pack a picnic and join us for a great day out!
We are delighted to announce a brand new partnership with Book Trust Northern Ireland. Together we will deliver an exciting and valuable project which will offer local children and schools a free visit from a well-known authors and illustrators to promote a genuine passion of reading for pleasure from an early age. These schools visits will be a wonderful opportunity for children to meet a successful writer and help them to take those first valuable steps towards a love of literature and a life-time of finding inspiration, comfort, intrigue and fascination in the written word.
